Copy a link to this questionWhat windows does NIPROM make?
NIPROM makes wooden windows and wood-aluminium windows. Wooden windows are painted in RAL colours, and the 2024 catalogue shows 24 window designs (N-01 to N-24). Wood-aluminium windows are made with the 5000/S Quadra system.
Copy a link to this questionWhy does NIPROM recommend wooden windows?
According to NIPROM, wooden windows keep the warmth in the home and let the sun in but not the heat, last a long time and keep their shape despite outdoor humidity and heat. Because they can be painted, their life is extended and they fit different spaces and styles.
Copy a link to this questionWhat is the difference between wooden and wood-aluminium windows?
Both are wood on the inside. The wood-aluminium window (the 5000/S Quadra system) adds an outer cladding of EN AW-6060 T5 aluminium, powder-coated to Qualicoat or anodised, held by plastic clips 5 mm from the wood. That ventilated gap carries moisture away and gives the materials room to expand. According to the system's manual, watertightness is class 9a (EN 12208), air permeability class 4 (EN 12207) and wind load resistance class C4 (EN 12210).

Are NIPROM doors and windows tested?
Yes. In 2025 the Furniture Testing Laboratory of the Faculty of Design and Technology of Furniture and Interior (UKIM, Skopje), accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, tested our interior door and our wooden window. The door achieved the highest class, 4, under EN 1192 (test certificate 0055/2025). The window achieved class 4 for air permeability (EN 1026), A9 for watertightness (EN 1027) and 5C for wind load resistance (EN 12211), with U = 1.0 W/m²K (test certificate 0054/2025). The certificates are valid until 30 July 2027 and are published in full on the Certificates page.
Copy a link to this questionWhat does RC2 mean for a security door?
RC2 is a burglar resistance class under the European standard EN 1627. The door must withstand static and dynamic loads and a break-in attempt with simple tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wedges) for at least 3 minutes of working time. The MS17 security door we offer was tested from both sides and classified RC2 (test report 230911-43, Spectrum Labs, 2023).
Copy a link to this questionDo you offer fire-rated doors?
Yes, on request. The MS14F steel door is classified E 45, EI1 15, EI2 30, EW 30 with S200 and Sa smoke control to EN 13501-2:2023 (classification report CR-417-01, F Plus, notified body 2548). EI2 30 means it holds back fire and limits the heat on the other side for 30 minutes. The classification applies to a door installed as tested, in a wall of equal or higher fire resistance.
Copy a link to this questionHow energy-efficient are your wooden windows?
The tested single-sash wooden window, 800 × 1400 mm with a 68 mm wood profile and argon-filled glazing, reached U = 1.0 W/m²K and air permeability class 4 (test certificate 0054/2025, UKIM). The U-value of your window depends on its size and glazing, so we state it in the offer.
